Today, more than ever, the future is subject to great changes and uncertainties that we have not felt in recent years. The last bad experiences have exposed the shortcomings of our current life, a monotonous, artificial and stressful career detached from nature.

However, at the moment when we have most noticed the fragility of the human being, society seems to have rediscovered the benefits of nature and awakened its desire to regain connection with it. Therefore, faced with these old needs, ‘A Garden to recover our future’ arises, a proposal that aims to expose the qualities of a small green space in our lives.

The gardens for our near future should not be seen only as decorative elements, but as elements of production, personal recreation, relaxation and extension of the native flora and its biodiversity. In this way, this proposal wants to recover the ability to generate our own food, to create a space that is once again attractive to insects and birds, providing rest and food, and to enjoy sustainable green areas without the need for great costs.

This is a minimal garden, simply, but it is a basic necessity in today’s urban environments too.

At this time, the only certainty is that our future will be different, with great changes already taking place, but only with ecological sensitivity and social responsibility, we will achieve a correct and sustainable relationship between humans and nature.
